I have deleted the reference in the background info to the website but inserted a link to the conference package

I have restored the link from this page to Julian's page 'political web resources', which he set up during the conference. Julian: sorry it disappeared when I replaced the old front page with a new one after the conference.

I have tidied up the Conference Group reports. These are followed by a summary of action points and suggestions for Working Groups. I have also added comments to the mySociety proposal in advance of tomorrow's 'phone conference.

Kitty - there is something wrong with the table of contents which I have spent some time trying to fix. The new item I put in on our discussion this morning doesn't fit in as i,ii, etc and also links to the wrong page - although I have made the link perfectly well lower down

Sorry for my absence yesterday, but well done indeed. The wiki is up and running; now to feed it with content / important articles and files : open it up to experts. or is this particular wiki reserved for post conference comments / ideas! What can I do?

I have a possible source of funding for NetLap. A proposal needs to be in within a forthnight. Do we have any idea of how much money we might need for staring off the project

Since the confrence I have looked further into other wiki type websites. I use linkedin and transition towns Tunbridge Wells http://ttwells.ning.com/, and Wikipedia. There some features in others that seem better they are:-
!) Notification of members that one someone has added a comment.
2) Ability to return to my comment and edit it.
Can these features be added to this site. Also some more navigation and tagging features would be handy. I do understand that website maintenance can take up a considerable time, having a 12 year old 130 page site myself.

In response to Andrew: Well, I'm just getting used to the Wiki and am moderately happy with it. But perhaps Kitty might have something to say

Is there a way of contacting another member of this group through one of these pages?
I have added a comnent on Robbie Mansons' submission to confrence and I would like to let him know that I have done that, for example.

Andrew: this wiki does not provide its members with a way of contacting another member - but as it happens, Robbie had not tried to join the wiki anyway. I have now signed him up as a wiki member and emailed him (and you) about your comment.
More generally, we do need (I think) to enable any conference attender to email some/all of the other conference attenders (or, at least, those who don't mind being emailed). Unfortunately we did not (I think) establish, during the conference, who does not mind their email address being shared.
George: any comments?

Re the above. So does it need a list serve? I could happily email the conference attendes about this asking them to reply yes or no - and let them know about the Wiki.
Meanwhile, I'm, updating people abou the latest links on the NETLAP website about recent developments, including the MoD brieifing.

If you like I will, or I guess Kitty could, set up a Yahoo or another group. The example I posted you before is set so that it is not publicly viewable;
It can be changed so that it is viewable,
Also email addresses are can be visibile so that you can contact other memebers directly, or invisible so that you can only post to the group,
If it is for us only I think both those settings should be set to invisible, And all members have full moderator rights

All I need is a name eg NETLAP-discussion, to start.
Subsequently any member of the group could enter a list of all confrence attendies email addresses, presume consent seems reasonable as they willingly gave there email address. But clearly there email address should not be visible to the whole group.
People can remove themselves, or as George suggests new people could receive an invitation to join. A link could be added to the NETLAP website for people to click a link to join, but in that case a moderator would need to accept the request to join.

This wiki page can now be found by searching the web, but it would be use full to add links in the front page to other related websites, and also to NETLAP.
